When should I put mulch out?

Mulch is typically spread in the spring and early fall.  It is done at these times because the soil temperature is warmer and this encourages plant growth through the remaining seasons.  Installing mulch will ensure plant is healthy through the summer and winter until the following year when mulch is re-installed.
